Worked for the International Department. Taught Spanish in a multi-cultural environment. Taught students about Spanish language, culture and their heritage. Responsible for teaching pronunciation, grammar, composition and sentence construction. Besides the communicative method, other language teaching methods were used, audio lingual method, the direct method, the natural method and the acculturation method in order to meet the specific requirements of each student. Provided guidance to students on conversational as well as in writing Spanish. Responsible for developing the lesson plans, the teaching materials, the class preparation, the testing, and the report cards. Organized cultural events in which students had the opportunity to communicate and share their culture and customs in Spanish through music, dancing, poetry, food etc. Interactive, fun activities were part of the curriculum.
