Catering Consultant, Victoria, BC - July 26, 2012
This was a great opportunity to learn about the catering industry and was my first experience learning about food and service. A typical day at work would include sending quotes to potential clients, reviewing invoices and coordinating with the accounts department, conduct deliveries and follow through with all aspects of service. I also coordinated with the in-house graphic designer to improve the catering departments visibility to the public. I worked unsupervised in my own office a lot but the interaction I had with other people in other departments was friendly, fun, and formidable.
