Dixon, Davis & Company is looking for a mature person with administrative capability and entry level sales experience in the financial services sector. Our ideal candidate is seeking an opportunity to build on skills through learning in a structured environment, and one who values the work/life balance offered in a small office setting. Initially, 25 to 35 hours a week with flexible timing.

This position incorporates two roles: management of the day to day operations of the DDC office, and providing personal assistance to the Senior Partner. It carries a high degree of autonomy that requires a broad knowledge of the financial services industry, as well as familiarity with the operations of a client-centered small business similar to a legal or accounting practice.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to interact easily with clients and compose clear, well written summaries and reports. You will be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of software, Adobe Acrobat reader and writer, as well as some accounting software (MYOB preferred). You will have training/experience in the financial services sector - banking, insurance, real estate, investments, etc. and have some knowledge of personal financial planning and personal income tax preparation.

Your willingness to take ownership of tasks, and a desire to constantly update your knowledge and qualifications, will distinguish you from the pack.
