A manufacturer of industrial air filtration equipment is looking for an experienced Plant Manager with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage an assembly shop.

Minimum of 5 years Production Management.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the Manufacturing sector
Experience in people management
University Degree or Equivalent Technical Knowledge/ Experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Planning, leadership and management skills;
Good knowledge of current quality standards and requirements in the industry;
References Required before interview
Lean/Six Sigma knowledge (an asset)
Project Management skills.
Strong organizational skills
Excellent English, good French written and spoken
Experience in a continuous flow manufacturing environment


Responsible for the management of the assembly shop to ensure efficient production and high quality up to company standards

Supervise, train and motivate employees to ensure that performance meets expectations. Develop workforce through performance management, coaching and training and evaluate team members

Use Lean methods and processes to optimize costs and performance (lean manufacturing)

Solve production or process problems, and modify schedules to ensure deadlines are met

Maintain safe working environment

Monitor customer service issues and take corrective action as required

Manage interface between management and plant

Proven ability to embrace a continuous improvement program

Flexibility to manage a dynamic production environment.

Willing to work extended hours and occasionally overtime shifts
