The District of Taylor is accepting resumes for a full-time Program and Events Coordinator position. Hours of work may vary, depending on activities, events and organizational requirements. This position will require a flexible schedule.
Reporting to the Community Services Director, the Program and Events Coordinator performs duties including planning and organizing effective delivery of recreation, leisure, social, cultural and general program opportunities and events. The coordinator will also promote and market various community programs and services, prepare correspondence, monthly newsletter, reports and statistics related to community services and planning. The ability to network with a wide range of groups, residents and volunteers is needed, as well as the requirement to occasionally supervise programming staff.
The hourly wage for this position is 18.00 to 19.00 per hour, depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package. Interested candidates are encouraged to forward their resume and cover letter to the District of Taylor office addressed to the Community Services Director.
