We are currently staffing a Senior Human Resources Business Partner position for an established client located in the downtown area of Ottawa. Working within the HR Advisory team, the HR Business Partner provides professional and proactive human resources support and services to a designated client group or groups. The HR Business Partner is integrated at all levels with the designated group and will balance the needs of the group, individual employees and the corporation’s values and policies. The HR Business Partner acts as an internal consultant and primary HR contact for their client group and is responsible for strategic HR planning and execution, service delivery and implementation of HR programs and policies.
Working with HR specialists in designated areas the HR Business Partner is responsible for assisting the designated client group in realizing their business objectives by providing proactive and strategic HR guidance, implementing HR programs and partnering on HR matters relating to resource planning, performance management and compensation. The HR Business Partner will maintain positive employee relations; provide direction to the leadership team and present recommendations and solutions to HR related matters.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant under-graduate degree, coupled with a minimum of seven years of broad HR experience and a thorough knowledge of employment related legislation. You will need to be a customer focused and solutions orientated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior executives.
The organization are offering a base salary in the $90,000-$125,000 range coupled with a competitive benefits package.
