Productive and comfortable place to work
senior collector (Former Employee), Ennis, TXOctober 28, 2013
Pros: bonus paid if expectation goals were met.
Cons: to much emphized on employees and not enough on the customer
My work day would start with greetings from co-workers. My work day would consist of handling calls from existing customers and communicate with customers how to save energy on their utility bill. I learned how to work with customers with financial issues trying to keep their business by setting up payment plans. The hardest part of my job was advising – more... customers that have been disconnected from service due to non-payment that service could not be reconnected without paying in full balance due. I enjoyed working with all my co-workers daily because Direct Energy was very good to their employees. – less

Productive, exciting, and challenging place to work
Call Center Project & Operations Manager (Former Employee), Ennis, TXOctober 8, 2013
Pros: new learning experiences every day
Cons: none come to mind
I had the good fortune to interact daily with peers and co-workers both at the Ennis Call Center facility and around the country as we worked together to build and deliver products and services designed to meet the needs of customers throughout Texas. Timelines were often short but always achievable because everyone always could be depended on to get – more... the job done. – less

Inbound Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Tempe, AZSeptember 27, 2013
This job was very interesting. Customers kept you on your toes and it's up to you how you respond to them. The hardest part of the job would be dealing with difficult customers and down time between calls. Otherwise the job was really good.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Ennis, TexasSeptember 10, 2013
Pros: exercise room, computer room, lounge, free breakfast
Cons: relocated
A typical day at work would be coming in at 7:30 to the call center to help customers with questions about their summaries. I learned how to work in a fast paced manner. The management was great. My co-workers were very helpful when needed. The hardest part of the job was to satisfy each customer on each call. The most enjoyable part of the job was – more... that we had fun while working. – less
