The Human Resources Manager supports a dynamic and growing technology firm which includes a Software Development team, Professional (Billable) Implementation and Client Support Services and Sales and Marketing professionals; including operational support personnel.

The Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for human resource management within the organization, specifically lawful employment practices, positive employee relations, providing leadership in promoting a diverse work force, integrating the core values of the organization into the culture, assessing the need of management training and development programs and ensuring equitable and competitive structures are administered.

As the sole HR resource for the organization, you will have responsibility for all HR administration, record keeping and compliance issues.

The successful candidate will have 3 to 4 years of national recruiting experience specifically in the area of accounting and technology roles with the ability to efficiently onboard, assess needs and support new employees to reach maximum throughput during their probationary process.

You will also be responsible for management of all performance related documentation, administration of performance management system and will work with Managers to facilitate conflict resolution and any resulting disciplinary actions.

In addition, you will assist management in administration, update and interpretation of human resources polices and procedures.

The position has responsibility for developing, monitoring and supporting managers in employee recognition practices. You will co-ordinate annual employee surveys and work with management teams to interpret results, respond to employees, develop action plans around responses .

Previous supervisory experience in the areas of operational support would be beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • 5 – 7 years Human Resource Generalist level and some supervisory experience
  • University degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • CHRP designation is an asset.
