Field Systems Engineer I
Experience Req: 2+ years
Full/Part Time: Full time Position

Summary
Under general supervision of the Director of Operations, the Field Systems Engineer I delivers pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales support of Diamond Game gaming systems. The Field Systems Engineer I will perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation, repair and maintenance of all Diamond Game machines, servers and associated equipment.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Bingo and Gaming industry.
  • Demonstrates a high level of troubleshooting abilities.
  • Executes project plans to completion within time and budget constraints.
  • Implements configuration, set up and implementation of gaming systems projects.
  • Coordinate and assist with site installation support.
  • Provide post-implementation support.
  • Creates after-action reports for installations to capture lessons learned for future projects.
  • Audits existing installations for compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently on customer facing tasks in a fast changing technological environment.
  • Being aware of ongoing jurisdictional changes, upgrades and modifications and liaising with all appropriate Diamond Game departments.
  • Consistent interactions with Diamond Game compliance manager(s) and regulators to ensure compliance to all requirements.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining all aspects of Diamond Game gaming systems that reside at various test labs.
  • Associate will be required to apply for and obtain gaming license for Ontario.
  • Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid Ontario driver’s license
  • Travel up to 60% is anticipated.

Knowledge Skills Required

  • SME level Windows server administration, knowledge, and skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL-Server administration, including SQL 2008 R2 and SQL 2005.
  • Knowledge of Windows client-server architecture, including networking.
  • Windows networking experience: configuration and management.
  • Cluster server and SAN experience desirable.
  • Good technical/electronic troubleshooting skills
  • Active Directory knowledge

  • Travel and occasional overnight stay

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

The associate frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. The associate must be able to move, and control 550 pounds with the aid of dollies and tools; able to lift and move 40 pounds short distances without mechanical aid and frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Work and office area is primarily inside a climate controlled environment. While performing duties onsite at customer locations, the employee may be exposed to noise levels ranging from quiet to loud. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to adverse weather conditions. Working conditions will consist of moving and working around customers of Charitable Gaming Centers.
