Education: College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, or 4th Period Apprentice

Experience: Experience required

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Major Work Area: Fleet maintenance on rock trucks and track hoes

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work

Additional Skills: Maintain documentation, Order parts

Other Information: We are looking for a heavy equipment mechanic or 4 year apprentice to work in Fort McMurray in a camp setting. The rotation would be 10 days in and 4 days out. Accommodations are available. Subsistence, fuel card, lap-top provided.
