Tundra Tour Program Overview
In support of the launch of the all-new 2014 Toyota Tundra, we are travelling from coast to coast visiting our partners at Home Hardware locations, community events, country fairs and festivals. The goal of the program is to engage a captive audience specifically geared towards truck enthusiasts, nationwide. Consumers will have the opportunity to participate in on-site test drives, vehicle walk-arounds, AND the chance to enter to win $10,000 for a community build project through our “Projects are Calling” contest.
The Tundra Tour will touch down in trucks markets across the country starting this May running throughout the summer and into the fall. Visiting a variety of events and locations… from Ribfests, to Farmers Fairs, to Home Hardware Stores with contractor breakfasts, to Agribition 2014 and so much more – this program is full of exciting opportunities to engage with truck enthusiasts.
Tundra Brand Ambassadors will use key messaging surrounding performance and utility through approachable, quality interactions that will help evolve consumer brand perception and drive purchase intent. Truck owners know trucks, and our team of ambassadors needs to match and broaden their understanding and appreciation of what the Tundra is all about. Desperado is looking for highly driven and motivated individuals with a valid driver’s license, who are passionate about trucks, and work well with a team.
Desperado is seeking energetic brand ambassadors to represent our client Toyota and Lexus. As a brand ambassador you will have the opportunity to promote, educate and influence consumer automotive experiences with the goal to meet and exceed both test drive, and quality interaction targets.
Brand Ambassador Requirements
- Are energetic, engaging, personable and friendly
- Thrive on positive consumer interactions
- Are able to learn the Lexus material provided to enhance consumer knowledge
- Have an interest and keen knowledge of the automotive industry. Consequently, feel comfortable and confident talking about automobiles with consumers
- Must have a full, valid driver’s license
- Promotional experience and/or customer service experience is a must
- Dependable and reliable when working within an assigned schedule
- MUST have full availability for all dates in specific locations
- MUST have a valid drivers license

Vary based on role, relevant automotive experience, experiential marketing experience and past experience with Desperado
This will be outlined for the employee prior to activation and will partly be provided by Desperado Marketing.
