Salary: Very Competitive High Point: Downtown Vancouver Description: Our Vancouver client is seeking a Commercial Broker Representative. This role provides technical and administrtative support to the Senior Broker-Marketer (no direct client contact), ensuring documentation is issued in a timely and accurate manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Monitors and maintains the renewal and binder control systems
Maintains activity log ensuring accuracy of information
Maintains the internal library of standard policy forms and procedures and updates the forms, as necessary
Monitors the receipt of policies from markets and prepares acknowledgments for client advisory
May prepare loss experience reports
Reviews the quality and accuracy of binders and policies
Produces miscellaneous documents as required
Handles moderately,complex wording issues
May provide direction, coaching and mentoring to insurance assistants and administrative staff, with feedback on performance
Complies with company exellence and professional standards to ensure quality service to all clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Post secondary education or equivalent work experience, with a minimum 5 years commercial lines (all lines) underwriting or marketing experience
Strong technical knowledge and experience working with and interpreting insurance policies
Detail oriented - high level of accuracy
Good verbal and written communication skills
Results oriented with a strong customer service focus
Ability to work in a team based environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
