typical day begins at 6am to prepare the restaurant for breakfast service. If there are any functions, i help get that set up as well. During breakfast service, i try to maintain a smooth operating floor. -help seating guests, help servers flip tables, and maintain the buffet.
I try to not micro manage my staff as they are properly trained to do their jobs. When breakfast service is almost complete, my administration day begins-usually around 9am. Whether it is payroll, inventory, or special projects. There is always something to be done.
In between administration duties, i usually check up on the restaurant and/or functions, making sure everything is running smoothly and according to brand standards
