busy multicultural place to work
Server (Former Employee), Houston, TXDecember 7, 2013
Pros: free luches
Cons: no benefits till after 6 months
Mostly busy all day, I got to meet people from all over the world,
co-workers were okay some nice some not but its a job. management was lacking mostly just bossy, but they're were one or two who I really liked. Hardest part of the job was busing my own tables especially when it got crazy busy. Best part was walking away with at least $150 a day.

Super fun and fast-paced. Great as a second job.
Retail Associate/ Vendor (Current Employee), East Rutherford, NJDecember 2, 2013
Pros: only once a week, good pay, newly offered healthcare, fun
Cons: only once a week, super long work days occasionally (one time i worked for 19 hours)
The main and probably best difference between working here and working at a normal retail location is that the people you are dealing with are fans and not merely customers. They have come to your venue to have a great time. Therefore, there are a lot less headaches than there would be at your basic retail store. We are trained and constantly drilled – more... with GuestPath (certain customer service protocol), so all of my co-workers and I are always on our A-game. Since I was one of the first people hired for retail at this stadium, I have high seniority, meaning that I get called in to work outside of the football season for events like concerts, soccer games, and things like that. Usually for these smaller events, I get to work as a vendor and earn commission, which is often more than what I would make getting paid hourly. I get the best of both worlds because of my seniority, which I believe is very fair because it's like a perk for staying with the company for so long. They seems to hire new supervisors every season and I have noticed that they may not be trained as properly as they could be. On quite a few occasions, I have had to teach supervisors what they should already know, and I'm just an associate! This was perfect for me when I was in college because events are usually only once a week. – less

Concessions Supervisor/Night Auditor (Former Employee), Frisco, TXNovember 13, 2013
Pros: fun and fast paced
Cons: outside in the heat and seasonal positon
Typical work day consisted of doing inventory on concessions stand and to make sure attendees were properly managing the stand. I learned how to balance concession stands and portables and what it takes to get ready for different events. Management was great as well as the co-workers. The hardest part was dealing with the heat because it is an outside – more... facility. The most enjoyable part was getting to meet new people and learning the sport of baseball. – less

High Volume
Assitant Manager (Current Employee), Fort Lauderdale, FLNovember 4, 2013
It is important to make sure everyone is in place. Make sure we have enough product, supplies, and equipment is working. Checking product to verify it is all up to date and safe for public consumption. Watch the levels of product and order next days deliveries. Make sure staff takes proper breaks. Fix POS issues as they come up. Greet guests and answer – more... questions. Meeting and talking with staff and guests to learn, compensate, and react to the changing needs of the airport and guests is the most interesting part of working here. – less

The hardest part of the job
Stand Attendant (Former Employee), Baltimore, MDOctober 13, 2013
I think the hardest part of the job was that some of the employees would not do what they were suppose to do so I had to pick up the slack that they lacked.

My Soul Kitchen
Cook (Current Employee), Atlanta, GAOctober 2, 2013
Pros: free lunches, friendly environment, spontaneous, fun
Cons: high intensity work days
I love working for this company, being around the other employees lifts my day and gives me the energy I need to make it through my day. The hardest thing about the job is the hard work and effort that you must out into it in order to ensure that you provide customers with quality. The most enjoyable part about this job is the diverse group of people – more... you get to meet while working. – less
