Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Clinical Educator, a member of the local leadership team, will demonstrate clinical expertise using a coaching and mentoring approach beginning during the on-boarding and orientation of new hires. This role provides local clinical and education support to the facility to promote, sustain and maintain excellence in quality client care and inter-professional clinical practices.
The Clinical Educator will hold a BScN and have education related to adult education or equivalent experience and be registered with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. A minimum of three years’ nursing experience with at least one year of educator experience with a strong clinical nursing background is required. Demonstrated leadership, exceptional organization, interpersonal and communication skills and sound decision making skills with the ability to plan, organize and implement both proactively and responsively are core competencies to be successful in this role.
