Danson Decor Inc is the Leader in Import / Distribution of Seasonal Decorations designed for commercial Holidays. In business for over 70 years the company now sells over 10,000 decorative items throughout all Canada.
We are presently seeking for an administrative assistant to the Controller to join our team.
The candidate will assist the Controller in all aspects of the administrative functions of the business (Sales, distribution). Main tasks are, but not limited to:
Process any overseas payroll, bank reconciliation and payments
Process monthly reports for commissions, sales, bookings, generate order scheduling reports
Assist in several other administrative functions (P.O’s, issue debit note, pricing verifications, customer vendor agreements etc)
Assist on special projects,
Coordinate meetings, type minutes, and correspondence
Other administrative tasks as requested
Candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in administration (accounting is an asset)
- EXCELLENT skills in Excel
- Bilingual (French/English) both spoken and written
- Well-organized, analytical, good sense of follow-up and autonomy
- Ability to work in a fast-paste environment
We offer benefits after 3 months, 6 personal days, bonus, RRSP plan
Working hours: 8:30 to 4:30pm (35 hrs/week)
