Duties/Responsibilities:

-Support in equipment and tooling modifications to existing processes (i.e. Jigs and fixtures, equipment set-up and controls)
-Support new and modified processes; New Product Introduction; Kaizen improvements relating to cost reduction, quality improvement and downtime
-Plan, procure, and support installation of equipment and tooling to support DMCN production plans
-Root cause analysis of process and equipment problems

Requirements:

-Minimum of 4 years in an Automotive manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer
-Experience in general assembly processes (i.e. Screw and fastening torque processes)
-Working knowledge of Control Plans; Process Flow Diagram; PFMEA TS16949 requirements
-Minimum of Engineering Degree or equivalent
-Fundamental electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems knowledge
-Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-Create and/or revise mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
-Capability to work within a group or on individual tasks
-Strong analytical skills, and proven success in using data to troubleshoot issues

Preferences:

-Knowledge of Air and/or Helium Leak testers for Heat Exchangers
-Jig and Fixture Design experience
-P.Eng Designation
-TPS background
-Knowledge of machine guarding standards, PSR, and OHSA for Industrial establishments
-PLC and Controls knowledge
