3 - 5 years’ experience in fleet, construction, and mining and excavation equipment parts (Sterling, Mack, CAT, etc.)
Experience in purchasing, receiving and tracking inventory of parts, components, etc.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Must be able to multi-task and maintain composure in pressure situations
Strong customer service orientation
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all workplace parties
High School Diploma or equivalent experience


Purchasing products, supplies, materials and services at the lowest possible price while maintaining high level of quality

Responsible for ordering, receiving and tracking inventory and distributing parts in a timely fashion to technicians

Identifying and research parts or components, invite tenders, consult with suppliers and review quotations

Establish schedules, monitor progress and contact clients/suppliers for deliverables

Receive, record and stock parts and components

Maintain inventory control system, including updating computer as required

Complete requisition forms, purchase orders, packing slips, matching parts invoices with purchase orders and packing slips

Involved with warranty claims and Warranty and Maintenance credits

Assist in various job functions, such as, replenishment of parts inventory and handling of parts

Assist in preparation of reports on order status, parts and material shortages

Keep abreast of new products and related parts for various modification and bulletins updated

Handle incoming and outgoing telephone and e-mails for the shop

Required to sit for prolonged periods of time
Extensive periods of time on phone
Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
Climbing steps and ladders
Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
Overtime as required
