As a production engineer you will have excellent operational skills to provide direction to our inventory management and hardware engineering team. The production engineer will plan, organize and direct production activities in an efficient and effective manner.
Plan, align and direct efforts of the inventory management team
Oversee production processes and documentation
Formulate and manage control of budgeted processes including cost of labor, supply, equipment
Create metric reports to monitor production capacity and review and analyze efficiency, variance, and quality reports
Contribute to the development of mid-term plans within production, participate in developing business operations and implement accordingly
Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering, and at least 5-7 years progressive production experience in fast paced, new product introduction, manufacturing environment
Experience in a complex multi-disciplinary production environment
Strong report writing skills
Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
