Cons: district office oftens throws tasks into your day that interfere with what is needed to get done

Do daily observations of the cashier(s) on my shift. Perform the tasks set on the daily to-do list. Communicate with the next shift supervisor and/or store manger when they arrive. I enjoy greeting customers, we have many "regulars" who come in almost daily. You get to know them and their families. The hardest part of the job is being pulled in many directions when you have a deadline when something has to get done. You just deal with those as they come and soldier on. – less
