TECHNICAL FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
LOCATION: WINNIPEG, MN
The Technical Service Representative will be responsible for providing on-site repairs and maintenance on variety of equipment including; kiosks, automated systems for retail, photo finishing equipment and commercial printing technologies located in retail locations, airports and financial institutions.
The TSR will be required to complete work at a high-level of quality and reliability in a cost and time efficient manner.
The Technical Service Representative is responsible for the maintenance and service of various products including commercial & industrial printers and photo finishing equipment in the retail and business environments. Selected candidate should possess a strong background in repair and maintenance and have the ability and experience to assume responsibility for a geographic territory. Responsibilities include; Repair and Maintenance of customer equipment, ordering replacement parts, maintaining and tracking parts assigned to you and timely completion of paperwork including work orders, expenses reports and general administrative tasks. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction in your territory and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. The position requires travel within the assigned territory and may require over-night stays.
A flexible work schedule and the ability to respond to emergency calls outside of normal business hours is a requirement of the position. Selected candidate should be willing to work a five day schedule that could include Saturday or Sunday. Candidate must be willing to travel on a daily basis with some overnight stays, as well as be prepared for lengthier stays for training or special circumstances. Field service experience is a requirement of this position.
3 years maintaining and repairing digital and mechanical equipment
1-2 years of Kiosk repair experience
Knowledgeable on the use of test instruments and electrical repair tools
Knowledge of Kodak, Fujifilm, Noritsu photo finishing equipment an asset
Ability to diagnose equipment failures using application software
Knowledge in the use of electronic tools, voltage meters and basic repair equipment
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written with your peers
Computer/PC skills/personal productivity software (spreadsheet, word processing)
Basic electronic and mechanical devices
Well developed Diagnostic/trouble shooting skills
Ability to read schematics and block diagrams
