I am a dependable worker with a solid accounting and tax background. I believe in taking pride in my work and helping others work towards common goals and successes. I like to arrive at work early and leave on time to be able to have a good balance while ensuring all deadlines are met.
A typical day at work starts with preparation of the previous day's performance measurement reports and then moving on to other top priority tasks. I prepare the cash report and make the bank deposit to end my day.
I have learned that it is hard to motivate people when the only feedback they get is negative. I make it a point to thank everyone who helps me in, even the smallest way, each time someone offers assistance to me. I also take any opportunity to recipricate such assistance when the opportunity presents itself.
The hardest part of my job is no matter what is accomplished, the owner of the company has nothing but discouraging remarks to make - never has a positive word to say.
The most enjoyable part of my job is, believe it or not, overdue A/R collection because I get to talk to people that I might otherwise never get to meet.
I learned how to organize my workload so as to prioritize items in the order their deadlines are approaching. I also learned how to deal with people of all outlooks and demeaners and show appreciation for a job well done. I also learned to leave my work at work and not take any stresses home.
