Great Learning Opportunity...But The Environment Is Terrible
CSR (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 7 April 2016
The LTL industry is busy and stressful, but it's also fun and very informative. When you work with the right company, there's much room for advancement.. However, such is not the case here. The communication between staff and management at this particular CSA location (Toronto) is terrible. The favoritism is blatant to the point of discrimination. The turnover is ridiculous and the office politics are, for lack of a better word, pathetic. There is very little leadership and it's sad because there's so much potential for it to be a great place to work. I'm not sure if the owner is aware of how bad things are but I got the gist that he doesn't particularly care as long as the "job" is getting done. If there was an overhaul to the management team, this place would flourish in every way possible, It's unfortunate that the people in charge can't see that.
Excellent learning opportunity, company lunches, flexibility with hours, mostly decent co-workers
Really terrible management
