We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator able to meet the challenges of our diverse and dynamic organization.
Our Payroll Administrator will report directly to the Director of Operations, while being actively supported by the Accounting, Operations, and IT Departments.
Major Responsibilities will include:
British Columbia and Alberta bi-weekly non-union payroll (Salary and Hourly)
Processing deductions, garnishees and attachments
Preparation of Records of Employment, termination pay, and year-end T4 processing
Maintenance of ADP EZLabor portal access, users, and reports
Reviewing and correcting user entries in ADP EZLabor
Processing of payroll through ADP Pay@Work
Maintenance and filing of employee records and paperwork
Administration of group benefits
Preparation and reconciliation of BC-MSP/AHCIP, group benefits plan, WCB
Strict adherence to payroll policies and regulations
Preparation and of standard reports, and conducting internal auditing/reviews
Assisting Employees with payroll/benefits inquiries
Our preferred candidate will have:
A minimum of 5 years of high volume Canadian payroll experience
Experience using ADP EZLabor and Pay@Work
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
High-level Microsoft Office user skills
The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Benefits administration knowledge and experience
Thorough understanding of BC and AB payroll regulations
The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Respect for confidential and protected information
Professional designation an asset
