Intermediate SQL/C# Developer/Programmer (xCP)

Creditron is a leader in delivering payment processing and receivables automation solutions to financial institutions, businesses, government entities and non-profit organizations across North America. As part of the development team the intermediate developer is primarily responsible for assisting in the design and development of a cloud based proprietary platform for Creditron’s solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on design and development work using SQL Server 2008, C#, XAML, and Silverlight 5
  • Apply object oriented design principles
  • Coordinate between multiple disciplines (Architects, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Customers)
  • Develop functionality for new cloud based proprietary solution
  • Develop detailed application designs and architecture using proven industry patterns and best practices
  • Work closely with end user to gather initial requirements
  • Some travel to customer sites in Canada and/or the United States

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems or equivalent is mandatory
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years Information Technology experience preferably in remittance processing and receivables automation solutions
  • Minimum of 3 years hands on development experience with SQL Server 2008 and C#
  • Experience using XAML, Silverlight 5, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Windows Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms
  • Experience using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
  • Experience using Subversion or other source control systems
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with object oriented design and analysis
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with customers and technical staff
  • Detailed analytical skills with demonstrated ability to break down complex problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with automated and unit testing is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team
