Title: Youth Programs Assistant
Hourly Pay: $10.25/hr plus 4% vacation pay
Hours/week: 30
Duration: up to 16 weeks

Job Description
The student will work with the Steering Committee Chair, Program Coordinator and volunteers to run summer activities for youth with an emphasis on art based activities and physical fitness. Activities also include field trips, educational workshops, and local community events.

This position is ideal for a post-secondary school student in Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Services, Recreation, Developmental Psychology, or related fields.

-- students between 15 and 30 years of age;
-- have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to
return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year;
-- are Canadian citizens or permanent residents or have official refugee protection status under
the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (foreign students are not eligible); and
