Productive, fast paced environment
Set Up Technician (Former Employee), DeLand, FLDecember 5, 2013
Pros: great pay, benefits
Cons: too much overtime, no home life
Highly fast paced environment, running around machines to keep them running, heavy lifting. Hardest part of the job was the job/ life balance, worked too many hours to really have a home life.

Poor Company Culture
Energy Expert Sales Representative (Current Employee), IndianaOctober 24, 2013
Pros: great training program
Cons: poor culture, intimidation, retaliation, cut-throat management, unprofessional.
Don't work for this company in Indiana. The manager there is extremely unprofessional. This individual aggressively ridicules male counterparts in management with sales reps on the team, as I witnessed this first hand. This individual doesn't hesitate to lie about others to get where they want to go or to intimidate team members. This person's entire – more... team is afraid to call this person out or to file a formal complaint for fear of retaliation. It's unfortunate. – less

No Ethics
Employee (Current Employee), Carlsbad, CAOctober 5, 2013

The worst company ever. Senior management are not qualified to lead departments. Senior management does not follow law's and regulations and push their employees to signoff of false documents. Don't join this company if you have ethics especially S. California branches.

Great Company
Clinical Education Associate (Former Employee), Worked remotelySeptember 23, 2013
Pros: company car
Cons: not a stable environment
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Covidien. They have great benefits and they treat their employees with respect. This was my first corporate job (outside of hospital healthcare positions) and I was pleasantly surprised at the flexibility my job position offered. The hardest part of my job was having to travel frequently, however, I enjoyed the upbeat – more... energy the company encompassed. I felt empowered to be a great employee at all times. – less
