Crew Supervisor, Sales and Service Department (Former Employee), San Jose, CAJune 23, 2014
Pros: i became a manager for the first time.
Cons: lack of long term goals.
I liked my co-workers, got along fine even though we competed for better projects. Management weren't much helpful and often got in the way of their employees at work unnecessarily. I enjoyed managing a team and improving better client relationship.

Field Consultant (Former Employee), Downers Grove, ILApril 9, 2014
my typical day at Coverall was in the field meeting with current franchise owners making sure they were compliant with all CoverALL standards and policies. I provided on site support for the franchise owners. There was also some sales involved. I also coached and trained some franchise owners and their employees to improve skills and standards. This – more... job allowed me to develop and gain a better understanding of the health based cleaning systems. The hardest part of my day was there sometimes was not enough hours in the day. My co workers and the management staff were great and very fair and supportive . There was a great transparency and communication from upper management. – less

Great place to work, hospital staff is helpful and pleasant.
Floor Tech/Health Base Cleaning (Former Employee), East 22nd Kindred HospitalJuly 24, 2013
Pros: getting to know great people on the staff, and free lunches sometimes.
Cons: mainly always busy on the floor sometimes no breaks at all doing cleaning and floors.
I start my day making sure i have all my materials while greeting staff and co-workers, Then go room to room greeting patients and cleaning room with pacific cleaners, i have learned people are generally honest and nice. Manager keeps my informed and well equipped with materials needed for job,co-workers keep me informed of the daily cleaning and problems – more... and changes if occurred. The hardest part of this job is seeing patients in pain and the family's discomfort. The most enjoyable part of my job is to be able to help patients and there family's and the smile i get when doing so, and knowing the cleaning and floors i do are done better than the ordinary. – less

Salespeople are expendable
Account Executive (Former Employee), Burnaby, BCJanuary 16, 2013
Pros: benefits & rsp plan
Cons: see above
I worked for Coverall of BC for over 2 years and recently spoke to another ex-salesperson; this inspired me to share my experience...

The Coverall business model is such that the salesperson is expendable and an easily replaced facet of the business. The owner is a man who has no concern for his sales team and as a result treats them like slaves. The – more... culture at Coverall is cancerous and has one watching his back at every move. I have been in sales for over 20 years and held numerous positions from retail to executive and I can honestly say this was the worst sales job I have ever had. In my short tenure I witnessed the replacement of two full sales teams (6 people), some of who were very talented, and if nurtured properly would have done very well; but they have no time for that. On top of this the infighting was unbearable. Everybody blames the salesperson if something goes wrong. – less
