We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager for our client, a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods.
Position: Key Account Manager (Quebec Region)
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
Duration: Full Time/Permanent
Location: Home based/Montreal, QC
SCOPE: The Key Account Manager role is a mainly home-based position that requires the candidate to execute business plans with key customers to meet sales objectives. The candidate will also work in conjunction with the Retail Sales Representatives to execute promotional plans.
- Over 3 years experience in Key Account Management with Consumer Products
- Experience within the Quebec market
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor degree required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
- Experience with National Data systems
- High degree of business knowledge and experience within the consumer products industry
- Working knowledge of brands, products, negotiation, fact based selling etc.
- Plan, negotiate and execute business plans with key customers
- Meet or exceed sales forecast goals.
- Maintain a high level of customer contacts and relationships
- Build annual business plans by key account to achieve zone volume objectives
- Manage business development fund to stay within budget while meeting sales forecast
- Develop customer business plans including long-term goals, strategies and results
- Work with the Retail Sales Representative to execute promotional plans
