Our client in the heavy industrial industry near London, ON. has asked us to recruit their next Health and Safety Supervisor.
This position serves as a member of the Environmental, Health and Safety team for the facility. The H&S Supervisor promotes a safe and productive workplace by increasing safety awareness, monitoring and auditing safety systems, reporting safety statistics, and providing safety training. The H&S Supervisor works with all site personnel, contractors, regulators, and corporate staff and provides full support in the EH&S effort.
Responsibilities Include -
Support company procedures, goals, objectives and policies, promote a safe and productive workplace, Comply with EHS regulations, Continuous improvement of safety programs in place, Maintain injury and illness records, Audit site safety systems and report, report accidents/injuries to ministry of Labour.
The ideal candidate will ideally have 5+ years of Industrial, Construction or Mining experience, Supervisory experience is a must. Training background and a CRSP designation would be ideal and carry out tasks as assigned.
