day's work
Production Worker (Former Employee), Albuquerque, NMSeptember 23, 2014
Pros: company outings
A typical day of work consisted of safely using electric and manual pallet jacks to accurately pick customer orders. Along with picking I would train new employees on various picking duties and proper operation of all equipment. The hardest part of the job I would say was trying to balance case picking and each to finish our orders to dispatch out trucks – more... on time. I enjoyed the up pace steady work flow of the warehouse and working with my fellow employees made the work day much smoother. – less

Merchandise and Salesman ship
Merchandiser/Sales Person (Former Employee), Albuquerque, NMMay 26, 2014
Pros: traveling, good pay, skill builder, paid gas
Cons: policy change, truck delays
Traveling to my assigned convenient store to merchandise. Which included my shipment of dairy, sweet and salty snacks, pastries, deli products, and HBC products. Checking in the product by invoice and checking the price and making sure the price matches the stores inventory. Pricing and dating perishables, example pastries, and deli, also checking the dates – more... on the dairy. Rotating and stocking products and checking for out of date products including properly disposing of milk products. Writing off out of dates and returning them to the warehouse. Using a telxon to reorder products for the next shipment and order using build-to's. Other times re-tagging and repricing shelves, gondolas by schematics. Introducing and bring up new product to store personal as to the manager, and district manager. After everything is done and taken care of I would go to my next store and repeat the procedures. We as a team of merchandiser s were each given a store and were responsible for starting and finishing up our given store. The job allowed me to travel and meet many other stores and store personal. – less
