We are looking for a unique candidate that has specific industry experience in a manufacturing environment, handling high volume that likes to dig deep and focus specifically in the area of inventory costing. This is a junior role, that really requires a candidate that is willing to learn and grow but comes to the table with inventory costing background. We want a candidate that is going to stay in this position a minimum of 3 to 5 years.

Job Description:

Matching supplier invoices with purchase orders and processing for costing on a timely basis.
Verification of quantities, pricing, special pricing programs (Buys and rebates).
Adjusting invoices for price and quantity variances - Freight and duty/brokerage allocation
Inter-Company Stock Transfers and allocation of freight cost
Maintaining of vendor pricing books in order to track price increases, buys and discounts

This role is for the candidate who excels in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and for a candidate that is looking for a long-term opportunity.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Strong inventory costing experience, minimum of three (3) years experience
Knowledge of the accounts payable cycle
Fast and accurate data entry skills.
Ability to work about 4 hours of overtime per week in the peak seasons.
Superior Excel and Outlook skills, and high computer proficiency.
Experience working with vendors.
Experience in a multi-branch environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well with a diverse team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Intermediate to Advance level of skill in Excel
