Job Description:

Confluence Consulting is seeking the services of a Business Analysts for a contract opportunity with one of our trusted federal government clients. The Business Analyst will also have some responsibilities similar to that of a Communications Consultant.

The resource will be responsible for the following:

1. Providing advice on messaging and audience needs;
2. Edit and revise documents to promote maximum impact and effectiveness;
3. Ensure effective structure and design of documents in the early stages of development and quality control prior to release and publication.

Mandatory Criteria:

Candidates "must possess" the following to qualify:

~ "Reliability Status" GOC security clearance.

~ a college diploma or university degree.

~ a minimum 10 years experience working as a Business Analyst.

Rated Criteria:

~ experience developing speeches for senior officials (e.g. Deputy Ministers, Ministers) of Government.

~experience as a writer and or editor for Government departments and agencies in the following:

(i) Reports on Plans and Priorities;

(ii) Integrated Business Plans;

(iii) Departmental Performance Reports;

(iv) Annual CIO IM, IT and Project plans;

(v) Treasury Board submissions.

~ experience in advising on sensitive communications to senior officials (e.g. Deputy Ministers, Ministers) of Government in a department or agency during the organization’s start-up and during a major restructuring of Government.~ has a minimum five (5) years experience analyzing data sets, identifying anomalies, and reporting on findings.
