Director, Business Development | Nationwide | $200,000 Plus Bonus
Engaged by our client - a global provider of fully integrated management and support services for a diverse range of markets - we are searching for a leader to fulfill the role of Director, Business Development. The role will involve being an instrumental part in designing the region strategy and annual business plan with the Region Executive and region leadership team.
Summary of Duties:
Responsible for the approach to driving the growth and sale of the company’s services for all business lines across all market sectors and areas within a region, aligned with region strategy and annual business plan.
Leads overall region business development and best practice client management programs with specific focus on pursuits of a scale aligned with the company’s current and desired market position.
Facilitates reviews of opportunities in select markets, and develops strategies to optimize positions in those markets.
Develops a region-wide political strategy integrated with business development efforts and region strategy.
Oversees design of marketing plans, anticipates opportunities, and identifies market trends.
Works with Region Business Line Leaders to achieve strategic business growth targets. Builds strong relationships and interacts regularly with key existing and new clients, teaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders linked to the region.
Coordinates efforts within the region and across all business lines.
Serves as an ambassador for the company.
Drawing upon industry and market expertise, the Director, Business Development directs the development of key capture and client development plans that conform to the region strategy and annual business plan. Drawing upon management and business experience, oversees capture teams and defines and mitigates risks and commercial terms during the pursuit process. Ensures that capture teams negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions, manages achievement of cost of sales, gross margin, backlog, and other related financial and business goals. Continuously interacts with key clients assuring satisfaction with the company services and interacting with project managers to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner.

20+ years related experience including 8+ years business development, operations management and/or staff management, in a multidisciplinary business
Bachelor’s or advanced degree
International EPC experience required
