Conestoga-Rovers & Associates has an immediate opening for a Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist in our Calgary Office. Collaborate with project teams to provide technical solutions for oil and gas and industrial clients across Western Canada
Manage environmental projects, develop strategies and solutions to meet and exceed client expectations
Participate in environmental investigation programs
Prepare work plans, reports, and correspondence for internal review
Conduct field activities including collection of soil, sediment, groundwater, and air samples
Develop project budgets and prepare invoices
Assessment and compilation of environmental data, interpretation of environmental regulations, and preparation of environmental reports
Contractor liaison/oversight for environmental investigation and remedial programs
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Geological and related), Geology/Hydrogeology, Science
3 - 5 years' experience in the environmental field including project coordination/management
Willingness to take on new challenges
Previous field experience (sampling, drilling, contractor oversight, construction) would be considered an asset
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
