Seeking a Project Manager to support the construction department and oversee the weekly progress of specifically assigned projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase of a project(s) in conjunction with the Project Superintendent, Project Coordinator and other Project Managers in the office.
Report to the CEO of the company with weekly to monthly progress of all current and future projects.
Implement and manage the Company safety program and monitor safety performance.
Project administration which includes negotiating and awarding subcontracts for scopes of work, resolving issues to meet project goals, invoice approval and review, preparing progress application payments and maintain project files.
Expedite all materials and equipment deliveries and monitor quality of work on site.
Manage project budgets and timelines to exceed requirements.
Minimum 5 years of related residential development and project managements work experience.
Demonstrate effective communication and team building skills;
Be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast pace team environment and have a desire to grow with the Company
Possess knowledge of residential high-rise construction processes, contracts, scheduling and quality control;
Proven performance in leadership and managing both people and development sites;
Demonstrated ability to analyze, problem solve, make recommendations for change, implement and evaluate and provide a strong process perspective;
Technically competent with various software programs related to construction industry.
Experience with LEED Building requirements is desirable but not necessary.
