Contract to end Dec. 31, 2014 with 6 month review

The Board requires a part time person to provide administrative support, customer service and general assistance, who is positive, energetic, able to work flexible hours and is a team player. The individual must be a self-starter and possess strong interpersonal, organizational & time management skills to ensure that projects and activities are completed on time.

Duties & responsibilities: (to include but not be limited to)

To take direction from and report to the Concession St. BIA co-Chairs

- Represent our BIA in a professional and congenial manner

- Manage Marketing, Social Media, Advertising with assistance from Board members, committees and the membership

- Manage communications; emails, newsletter, phone calls

- Provide information to the membership and media

- Attend HABIA monthly meetings and report the minutes at Board meetings

- Prepare grant applications /paperwork for BIA festivals /functions and submit on time and assist in organization of festivals /functions as required

- Maintain member data base for our business directory

- Assist in the establishment of positive, constructive and proactive relationships with the BIA members as well as those non-members whose actions can impact the BIA

- Attend committee & board meeting as required


Strong computer skills

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Motivated with detail orientated, organization, prioritization & time efficiency skills

Problem solving/defusing

Valid driver’s license with vehicle
