But not great when they aren't. I was assigned to work on a US project, but the company requested the wrong visa for me, so I was refused entry to the US and will now be flagged for additional hassles every time I cross the border (permanently, on business or for any other reason). As a contractor, they remove all of you email/time reporting accesses immediately when a contract is finished and getting them restored is next to impossible,

Lots of politics: divisions across the US don't talk to each other and, in some cases, actively work against each other.
