CompuVision is currently looking for a Service Desk Technician to work on our Service Desk for a Vancouver based client. The ideal candidate must have very strong technical skills, a track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, as well as sound judgment around complex business issues. Your responsibilities will include taking and responding to multiple client service requests via phone and email, as well as performing server, desktop and peripheral break/fix. A key part of this role will be managing your workload to effectively respond to and update your clients. You will work closely with the entire Service Delivery team to provide the exceptional customer service our clients are accustomed to.
Respond to desk side & remote support requests for end users
Receive & respond to escalated tier 1 support requests
Desktop, Server & Network peripheral rollouts
Desktop, Server & Network peripheral ‘break/fix’
Ability to manage both on-site and remote requirements to efficiently resolve issue.
Education Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:
Minimum two years relevant IT experience fully supporting and building SMB environments.
Demonstrated intermediate level expertise in:
Routing and Switching
Virus and Security
Extensive experience with virtualization technologies
Must possess a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and appropriate business-class insurance.
