Job Description

You are passionate about building great iOS apps, and like designing compelling, sophisticated UX/UI. You consider yourself a thought leader in the mobile and cloud development space.

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced iOS developer to lead our growing team of engineers in building next generation information sharing and collaboration tools for the mobile platform. You’ll have worked on a variety of software projects over the past 5-10 years. Your most recent experiences will have been on mobile development where you demonstrated your expertise as a technical and team leader. Experience in Android is a great nice-to-have.

In this role you will responsible for providing technical oversight, creative ideas and development leadership of innovative, best-in-class iOS and Android software products. You will want to lead by example in innovative design and the quality of code you write. Your enthusiasm to share knowledge establishes trust and respect within your team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead mobile development team through the design and implementation of multiple product initiatives

Development for a variety of mobile solutions for laptop, tablet and phone form factors

Coach, motivate and inspire team members to build high performance, stable and maintainable code bases

Identify development technologies and frameworks that provide advantages in software construction, developer productivity and long-term ROI to the organization

Drive excellence in UX/UI as an integral component great product design

Contribute to existing products/code base by making modifications as required

Propose and undertake special projects as required e.g. Proof of Concept, Rapid Prototyping

Work with cross-functional teams to understand market requirements and to define the right solutions

Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop solid and efficient unit tests and automated regression tests

Stay ahead of the competition on emerging technologies in mobile software development

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering or comparable experience

At least 5 years of experience in mobile software development with 2 years in a lead role

In depth knowledge of Objective-C programming language & Xcode , Java & Eclipse and iOS and, ideally, Android SDKs

Experience using several of the following: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, JSON, ATOM, C#, C++, ASP.NET, & SQL

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Analytical and creative problem solving skills
