The role of Colliers National Investment Services is to facilitate seamless transfers of income-producing commercial real estate properties. We conduct detailed underwriting and forecast market conditions in order to identify the best buyers for each asset class. When you join National Investment Services, Edmonton, you will tackle interesting tasks in a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and offers continuing skill development.
Term: Full-time permanent
Position Profile: You are part executive assistant, part marketer for the Colliers National Investment Services team. As a creative, organized, and detail-oriented person, you ensure all sales and other day-to-day administrative matters are addressed, while setting the creative tone for all property-related marketing material. This position does not involve sales or cold calling.
Your tasks are detailed as follows:
> Report writing and the preparation of proposals, brochures, confidential information memoranda, general correspondence, presentations, and meeting minutes
> Financial analysis
> File management of trade offers and trade records
> Travel to properties as required by the team from time to time
> Conducting market research and studies
> Additional duties as required by the Colliers National Investment Services team
There are three types of ideal applicants:
> Recent university graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.5, preferably in finance or accounting
> Not a university graduate but one with impressive work experience relevant to the tasks above
> Someone in the middle of the two extremes with outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, focus, and creativity

> An attention to detail for both proofreading and accurate financial analysis

Opportunities: You will be directly trained and supervised by Ken Williamson, Vice President. Training will be ongoing and in line with the required tasks of the position. You will also have access to Colliers University courses for ongoing training of technical skills including financial analysis, marketing, and time management.
Hours: You are expected to be able to accommodate the unpredictable schedules of the National Investment Services team, within reason. The typical workweek is around 45-60 hours.
