Your primary job will be to deliver custom software to our enterprise clients. You will also be looked upon to mentor other Android developers, contribute ideas to improve our processes and to help drive the team to hit its goals – all while delivering a quality application and experience to our clients.

A typical day may include:

  • Attending a morning stand-up
  • Coding on a new feature
  • Performing a code review
  • Providing estimates on an upcoming project
  • Giving input on UX/UI for a new project
  • Playing some Xbox over lunch
  • Testing a feature from another developer
  • Helping prioritize an upcoming batch of work
  • Demoing a new build to a client
  • Helping another developer solve a problem
  • Being awesome

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of Android development experience
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Drive to deliver top quality applications to enterprise clients
  • Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Initiative to deliver working software quickly and effectively with little supervision
  • Enthusiasm to work in an iterative development process
  • Ability to lead and mentor other developers

Great-to-have Skills

  • Familiarity with Git and/or SVN
  • Familiarity with unit testing and/or test automation tools
  • Experience consuming web services, including caching for offline usage
  • Prior experience dealing directly with clients
  • Experience with other mobile platforms including iOS, Blackberry and Windows Phone
