Automotive Body Technician:

Cochrane Dodge body shop is looking for a qualified Collision Technician. The qualified applicant will be responsible for the repairing and refurbishing damages on the vehicle's outer body. This is a specialized job and requires a candidate to be well versed with the technicalities of automotive parts.
Specific Skills - Estimate body repair costs, plan work to be performed, replace front end components, body components, doors, frames and underbody components, file, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired, hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers, remove damaged fenders, panels and grills, complete rust repairs, inspect repaired vehicles.
Additional Skills: Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks.
Ability to effectively coordinate work with fellow employees and other departments of the establishment. Should have excellent and verbal communication skills.
Education/Qualifications and Experience: - High School Certificate. 5 years or more exp. Must be Eligible to write red seal exam, or inter-provincial trade certification.
Salary: - $27.00 per hour, 45 hrs per week.
