POSITION STATUS: Permanent, Full-Time
DEPARTMENT: Industrial Services, Central Region
SHIFT: 5 Days On, 2 Days Off
HOURS: 10 Hours Per Day

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Site Superintendent is responsible for the Safety, Quality of Work, QAQC, Schedule, and respectful teamwork within the crews at the workplace. The Supervisor is a key participant in relationship building with the Client, Contractors, and ClearStream employees/DSPs.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Communicate daily with ClearStream Maintenance Manager.
Responsible for management of all ClearStream employees on site.
Liaison (single point contact) between client and ClearStream’s activity on-site.
Accountable for the day to day safety reports.
Ensure third party sub-contractors are being managed as required.
Support ClearStream Supervisors in their roles, focusing on leadership, attitude, reliability, teamwork, continuous improvement and cost tracking.
Responsible for the execution and coordination of the day to day maintenance activities for labor, scaffolding and logistics between Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Turnaround and Projects.
Involve the Maintenance Manager in any discussion / decisions to deviate from labor tasks / events as outlined in the work packages. Ensure job scope changes are reported and documented.
Manage the qualifications of ClearStream employees hired for the site. Ensure worker competency and application of Green Hands Program when applicable.
Bring all barriers and issues to the attention of the Maintenance Manager.
Ensure time sheets to the office are accurate and on time.
After hours e-mails or phone calls (as required but minimal)
Other duties as required.

Weekly Complex Schedule
Ensures the weekly schedule is followed
Attendance scheduling meetings and provide status on scheduled work activities.
Work with site planning department to assist with job plans, estimates and provide manpower as required.

Health, Safety & Environment
Manage the ClearStream workforce to the intent of the ClearStream safety program.
Champion safety in all areas of responsibility and resolve safety issues or concerns.
Conduct pre job safety meeting audits and ensure quality.
Perform general safety inspections, task observations and daily tours.
Perform incident and accident investigations as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Displays a safe and productive work ethic.
· Handle the administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents.
· Knows how to read drawings and interpret specifications.
· Strong leadership abilities.
· Effect business communication skills.
· Professional demeanor.
· Strong Safety culture including working knowledge of a stringent safety program.
· Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
5-10 years’ trade experience in an industrial setting, or operating facility.
3-5 years’ Supervision experience
Red seal Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or equivalent Certificate in a mechanical trade.
Planning/scheduling experience is an asset
Leadership for Safety Excellence training.
First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, and H2S Alive.
