ClearStream is actively recruiting a Receptionist for our new Nisku Facility!

The receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support in order to ensure that administrative services are provided in an effective and efficient manner. This position reports to the Area Manager, Edmonton.

Key Responsibility Areas:
-Receive, direct, and relay telephone and fax messages.
-Provide word processing and secretarial support.
-Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences, and conference calls for clients, coworkers and supervisors.
-Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system.
-Monitor the use of supplies and equipment, and maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
-Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment.
-Arrange for couriers.
-Professionally greet all guests and clients.
-Answer general and public inquiries, and assist in resolving issues/concerns or direct them to the appropriate resource.
-Perform administrative support tasks such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, and operating calculators or computers to work with pay records, invoices, balance sheets, and other documents.
-Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, and supervisors.
-Arrange travel and accommodations as requested.
-Provide administrative services to other departments as necessary.
Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Ability to create and maintain accurate and organized documentation.
-Must demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with members of a team.
-Computer skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization.
-Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
-Ability to prioritize with strong multi-tasking abilities.
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and deadline restraints of different projects.

-High school diploma. Post-secondary education related to office or business administration considered an asset.
-Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a receptionist role.
