KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Post secondary education / 2 year technical or university degree preferred
  • Project management experience and /or purchasing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with customers and service technicians
  • Knowledgeable with the OSHA and WSIB procedures an asset
  • A ‘customer first’ attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. Fluency in English required,
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Knowledge of Business Vision is an asset
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Self motivated, process driven, and results orientated professional

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.1 Assist customers with product inquiries
1.2 Take customer orders and prepare quotations
1.3 Trouble shoot and recommend products based on system requirement(s)
1.4 Enter customer orders in BV and follow up with purchasing if needed
1.5 Schedule production and coordinate customer deliveries
1.6 Work with engineering on any custom requirement
1.7 Create secondary BOM’S, picture to store on server for future repeat orders
1.8 Attend sales meetings as required
1.9 Update the mechanical schedule

2. Project manage in-house releases for system builds resulting from accepted tenders
2.1 Enter orders in BV
2.2 Request shop drawings from engineering or architectural staff for customer approval
2.3 Field customer inquires regarding shop drawing questions and approval
2.4 Follow up with customer for approval and release of job
2.5 Enter order into WIP’s
2.6 Prepare customer/project file on server and maintain
2.7 Create build, project binder for production
2.8 Release project based on required date to production team and purchasing to order
2.9 Create and maintain project reconciliation file
2.10 Prepare shipping paperwork
2.11 Prepare order for invoicing
2.12 Update WIP’s when shipped
2.13 Update project reconciliation with actual project close cost
2.14 Coordinate with site delivery, deficiencies and tracking of delivery (with help of account manager)
