A Typical day at work is full of fun with new challenges everyday and the good feeling that one gets after solving various operational issues. I leart so many different things from Customer Service to client retention, from project Management to collections, from billing to procurement. My job has different dimensions and every hour is a hour spent in dong something that adds value to the organization. Management is very supportive and often rewards us for good performance. Co-workers are great, the team is blend of highly experienced people and new fresh graduates who were good students in the school.
Most Enjoyable part of the job is probably closing and what we called closings basket. The total is displayed and is every milestone is celebrated by the branch.

Days were very busy and hectic and so it went by quickly
AR/Cash Application Analyst (Full-time) (Current Employee), Mississauga, ON – July 29, 2014
Pros: cafeteria in the office
Cons: long hours, very busy
One of the first duty I would do as soon as I arrive, would be to prepare the cash flow report of the previous day's receipts which I would send it by email to all of the managers in the finance department. Then, I would post the various batches of the receipts for the cheques that were sent to the bank to be deposited the day before. Once the day's mail arrived, I would begin to process the cheques. After all the receipts were posted, we would go to lunch. After lunch, I would balance the day's receipts and then work on the payments in our unapplied account. The hardest part of the job was keeping up with processing all of the cheques that arrived. We were understaffed so we could not keep up with the volume. The most enjoyable part of the job was the posting of the receipts.
Technical Video Support (Current Employee), Mississauga, ON – May 5, 2014

Cons: can be a stressful environment
fast pace, repetitive and flexible, the hardest part of the job is coming up with standards, management does a good job with making sure important information is communicated, co-workers are a pleasure to work with, learned a lot about the business ethics.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Mississauga ON – January 19, 2013
Normally busy most of the time, have learnt to be patient and to deal with people. Management is helpful most have an open door policy, helpful and friendly. The tam i work with on the night shift make a good team that works together well an easy going and friendly team. The hardest part is dealing with people especially that face that sometimes the job requires that we call them at home regardless of the time of day. When on a busy night everyone puts in 100% effort to clear the workload and the manager always says "good job guys" sometimes even orders a coffee or pizza for everyone.
I enjoyed my employment very much and due to family circumstances had to leave my job and relocate to Toronto.
Service Assistant (Former Employee), Edmonton, AB – July 9, 2012
Pros: many enjoyable people, a good and postive office environment.
A typical day would be checking emails and phone messages answering phones. Greet the customers and show them to to the person who their appointment is with. Arranged for courier pickup, and collect and deliver mail to the proper departments; also typing of letters to customers and scanned and entered into spreadsheets. Banking if required and entering invoices into Quick books program. Phoning for accounts overdue. Filing and booking of appointments.
Way too much drama at this office, the management doesn't do anything about it so everyone treats everyone however they like.
Customers call in to complain all the the time and management doesn't do anything to help the customers out.
Job Work/Life Balance
professional and friendly co-workers
Accounts Payable Clerk (Former Employee), Owen Sound, ON – May 8, 2012
on a typical day I would speak with several suppliers and employees about invoices and expense reports process invoices for weekly cheque runs upset new vendors and update any information that had changed
Technicien inspecteur de système d'alarme incendie (Former Employee), Edwards, ON – November 26, 2014
Pros: travail en abondance, voiture fournie, cellulaire fournie
Cons: salaire, avancement, avantages
Je trouve que dans cette compagnie on contrôle trop l'évolution d'un technicien ce qui nuit à son développement. Les possibilités d'avancement sont minces et très longue, par contre c'est une compagnie où l'assurance de travail est sure.
