To maintain a sportfishing lodge on a daily basis includes cleaning, making beds, assisting the cook and serving dinner. Must be motivated and able to work as a team member. Must be personable, in good health, and client friendly. Must be able to work unsupervised at times and in a remote setting. Experience preferred and\or to students pursuing a career in tourism-hospitality. Applicants must have Serving it Right, Foodsafe and be 19 yrs or older(serving alcohol). ,Ability to work with food to some extent is helpful. First Aid and Pleasure craft operators card would be an asset. This is a seven - eight week job every day early July to Last week of August. Board and room supplied and a great experience to the operations of a small fishing lodge on the west coast of Vancouver Island.Lodge accommodates 20-25 people including staff and guides.
