Great team approach and support
Family wellness Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Sherwood Park, AB4 December 2015
Great Team support, Collaborative staff, lots of training and flexibility. Most enjoyable is seeing the difference the program makes for families and children to succeed. Being a small team the demands are high and expectations to work overtime hours, evenings and weekends is high as well as the normal work day and crisis 24/hr phone which affects home life.
Pros
Supportive team members
Cons
long hours

Inspirational and challenging place to work
Youth Counselor (Former Employee) –  Edmonton6 September 2012
Working closely with at risk youth, addessing daily issues as well as more significant challenges that arise.
A field for younger people: many young energetic and fun new staff coming in.
The hardest part of the job is having to make decisions that aren't always popular.
The best part of the job is getting a client to understand the reasons for a decision and see the benefit to them in the long run.
Pros
outings in the community
Cons
unusual shift work
