Position Summary:
The Resident Worker assists both adult and youth clients who have been identified with mental health conditions or are approaching independent living, to live successfully in “The Village” Olympic Legacy Housing project. Ensures residents physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs are met through community supports. The Resident Worker builds and maintains positive relationships with adult and youth residents while maintaining professional relationships with other community support services that emphasize recovery from mental illness. The Resident Worker in this way assists residents to enhance their mental wellness and their independent living skills by supporting their involvement in healthy activities and their development of life skills. The resident Worker is both a landlord and advocate for residents.
